Old wood can be recycled instead of being disposed of, and thus transformed into a designer piece.

Several workshops in Switzerland are extending the use of reclaimed wood. They seek out valuable materials and create collections and unique pieces from old parquet floors, wine crates, leftover leather, transport frames, etc. Traces of their previous use are allowed to remain visible, giving the furniture and decorative objects a distinctive character – real eye-catchers for private homes, restaurants, or retail shops.
