Repair Day Köniz 2026

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Köniz community's Repair Day will take place. Come along and give your belongings a new lease on life!

Various repair services will be available at the new Bläuackerplatz in the center of Köniz.

- Free on-site repair service
- Knife sharpening service
- Bicycle repair course (registration link to follow)
- Upcycling workshop
- Children's play area
- Competition

 
What can be repaired:
- Electrical household appliances, kitchen appliances
- Lamps, consumer electronics, tape recorders, etc. → Please bring any available spare parts
- Textiles
- Toys
- Knife sharpening
- Bicycles
- Wooden and metal objects

following cannot be repaired:
- Coffee machines, printers
- Laptops, tablets, cameras, mobile phones

Bicycle repair course offered by the Bächtelen Foundation bicycle workshop.
The course is free and takes place at 12:00 and 14:00.
Space is limited; spontaneous participation is possible subject to availability.

Upcycling Workshop
From 1:00 PM: Textile upcycling with potato printing.
Bring your T-shirts, sweaters, tablecloths, etc., and give them a new look with your own design or one of ours. Children's T-shirts for printing can also be purchased on site.

Costs & Information
- Repairs on Repair Day, October 17, 2026, are free.
- Replacement parts may be charged. You will be informed in advance.
